Tookmine to garage yesterday under warranty for the Throttle Housing to be cleaned. Cold start this morning and it revved at around 1600rpm then settled to 750/800 rpm after a few minutes with a smooth tickover. :D Rough idle has now gone. Engine warmed up quickly :D :D. I think 1600rpm cold start idle is a bit high. Intrusivewind noise is the sole distraction at high speeds. 1.8-litre and 2.0-litre petrol versions are OK but the D-4D diesels are really impressive, particularly the ToyotaYear: 2007. It still has head problems if the old owner doesn't let it run on idle after driving, like all turbo engines. Quote.
